About the Role:
Participation, under the supervision of the Business Internal Control Manager, in the coordination and development of all tasks to be carried out annually within the company's Internal Control System on Financial Information (ICFR).
Key Responsibilites:
-Coordination and development of all activities of the Group's Internal Control System over Financial Reporting (ICFR), carried out in accordance with American SOX regulations, including:
1. Determine the scope of business processes and, together with the General Directorate of Systems Information, the applications that support those business processes. Update the scope at least on a semi-annually basis.
2. Coordination with Business Units and departments (e.G., Human Resources, Treasury, or Legal Departments) for the update/preparation of flowcharts and Risk and Control Matrices. Support in queries and internal control advice. Support to businesses for these same activities.
3. Updating the previous information in ARCHER (Group tool for ICFR).
4. Support in the coordination and continuous collaboration with Internal Audit as an essential part of the Internal Control process.
5. Support in the external audit process (explanations, obtaining information, etc.).
6. Monitoring and implementation of action plans to remedy deficiencies identified by the internal and external auditor.
7. Internal training activities for users.
8. Reporting conclusions to the Audit Committee and the Board.
-Analysis of new trends in Internal Control frameworks to adapt them to the Group's needs.
-Participation in other functions of the Compliance Department, including:
9. Follow-up on Internal Audit recommendations.
10. General support in other tasks of the Planning and Control Department.
Qualifications:
Experience: minimum of 2-3 years.
Education: Degree in Economics, Business Administration and Management (ADE) or Double Degree in Law/Economics or Law/ADE.
C1 Level of English
Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence will be valued.
Experience in Internal or External Audit roles will be positively valued. Specific experience in internal control and SOX in particular will be also valued.
Knowledge of accounting standards, IFRS, and US GAAP.
