We're looking for an AdTech Integration Engineer to join our team in Spain in a remote working mode.
Ensure the stability of ad delivery in CTV/video environments and accelerate the resolution of integration issues (tags/ad calls, VMAP/VAST, SSAI, ad podding, tracking), reducing time-to-fix and improving the quality of deployments and changes.
This role supports the integration and operation of the advertising stack across display, video and CTV environments. The engineer will serve as the technical point of contact for various ecosystem vendors, coordinating projects and troubleshooting complex issues with partners and internal development, product and AdOps teams.
Coordinate, monitor, execute and launch new features and products
Provide technical support for integrations with GAM, FreeWheel and other relevant partners: technical configuration, validation and troubleshooting in different environments
Coordinate changes with vendors and partners (FreeWheel, SSPs, measurement): execute tests and launch checklists
Offer technical guidance during the implementation of new integrations: ad units, macros, tracking and new formats
Diagnose ad delivery issues: timeouts, VAST/VMAP errors, ad pods, tracking discrepancies, creative failures, SSAI/CSAI issues
Analyze ad calls, logs and traces;
reproduce incidents using debugging tools (player logs, HAR files, consoles, vendor tools)
Manage tickets with vendors and follow up until resolution, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders
Explore and analyze ad delivery logs (GAM, FreeWheel, others) to identify error patterns, fill rate drops or tracking anomalies
Build and maintain monitoring dashboards or queries to proactively detect issues before they impact revenue
Prepare incident reports with quantitative data: estimated impact, cause, timeline and corrective actions
Requirements3+ years in AdTech integration/operations with a focus on digital video
Practical experience with GAM and/or FreeWheel (knowledge of both is a plus)
Operational knowledge of video standards: VAST and VMAP for integration and troubleshooting
Familiarity with CTV/SSAI: SSAI/CSAI concepts, ad podding, cue points, macros and tracking
Technical debugging skills: ability to analyze logs, network traces and vendor tools and communicate findings to partners
Data analytics experience: working with ad delivery logs at scale, building queries or dashboards for diagnosis (SQL, BigQuery, Kibana, Splunk or similar)
Nice to haveExperience with measurement and ad verification at the integration level
Knowledge of video programmatic for connection and technical support
Experience in OTT environments: Smart TV, set-top boxes, native applications
