Account Director (Marketing & Advertising) – Cheil
At Cheil, we are looking for an Account Director to lead and develop integrated campaigns for national and international clients. This role requires a clear strategic and business vision, the ability to foster strong client partnerships, and the drive to expand our operations and deliver impactful campaigns across channels.
Responsibilities
* Client relationship management: Develop strong and lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
* Growth & new business: Identify and pursue additional business opportunities with existing clients, as well as generating new opportunities for the agency.
* Team leadership & project delivery: Lead the accounts team and oversee the delivery of assigned client projects, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.
* Cross-department collaboration: Work closely with creative, production, media, and other internal teams to ensure the delivery of innovative and high-quality projects.
* Budget management: Monitor financial performance, manage account budgets, ensure project profitability, and oversee billing and reconciliations.
* Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in account management within advertising or creative agencies.
* Team coordination: Proven ability to manage and coordinate cross-functional teams, driving projects to successful completion.
* Leadership: Strong leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire.
* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a client-first mindset.
* Approach: Proactive, solution-oriented, and adaptable to change.
* Autonomy: Self-motivated and accountable, capable of managing responsibilities independently.
* Campaign experience: Experience with complex 360o campaigns.
* Languages: High level of English.

Contract type and compensation: Permanent contract; salary negotiated based on experience; bonus performance; internal training opportunities.

Schedule: Monday to Thursday 09:00–18:15 and Friday 09:00–15:00. In July and August, extended hours Monday–Friday 08:00–15:00.
Leave: 22 days of annual leave, plus 24 and 31 December and Advertising Day.
Location: Alcobendas, Spain. Direct bus service (100% free) from Plaza Castilla, Chamartín, and Nuevos Ministerios to our offices.
