The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for driving the growth of sales within their assigned region. This role involves managing a team of sales professionals, developing regional sales strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize revenue and market penetration. The Regional Sales Director will play a critical role in expanding the company’s presence, achieving sales targets, and fostering long-term relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Strategy & Execution:
o Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
o Identify market opportunities and lead efforts to drive product and service adoption across the region.
o Monitor and analyze regional sales performance and adjust strategies as necessary.
* Team Leadership & Development:
o Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
o Set clear sales targets and expectations for team members.
o Provide coaching and training to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
* Client Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners in the region.
o Negotiate and close large-scale contracts.
o Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
* Market & Competitive Analysis:
o Monitor regional market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
o Identify potential threats and opportunities in the market.
o Gather customer feedback to refine product offerings and service levels.
* Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
o Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment in messaging, product offerings, and customer support.
o Coordinate with other regional directors to share best practices and align on company-wide goals.
* Reporting & Forecasting:
o Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews for senior management.
o Track regional performance metrics, including sales revenue, pipeline activity, and team performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Experience:
o Proven experience as a Sales Director, Regional Sales Manager, or similar role.
o A minimum of 7 years in sales management, preferably in healthcare.
o Experience in leading and developing sales teams.
* Skills:
o Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
o Strategic thinking with the ability to execute and drive results.
o Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
o Data-driven mindset with proficiency in sales analytics tools.
