PLANT MANAGER (F&M) at Air Liquide

Responsibilities
Achieve operational excellence (safety, reliability & efficiency) in the plant in compliance with local regulations and IMS rules.
Assume legal responsibility for safety and operational performance of the facility.
Ensure achievement of safety performance (field safety, process safety, cybersecurity) and security at facility level, with support from HSE and industrial management teams.
Ensure reliability: deliver products per customer contracts and maintain equipment, plant and pipeline availability.
Ensure efficiency performance at facility level, supporting the SIO Center.
Build and maintain operational relationships with customers and regional support (fire/police/community).
Approve facility Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and oversee operational transients, capitalisation, feedback and lessons‐learnt loops.
Understand, monitor and optimise local operating costs and budgets, recommending opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Make sure asset optimisation actions bring the plant back to normal process conditions promptly and correctly, conducting proper risk analyses.
Interface with other teams and ensure maintenance tasks are authorised, coordinated, safely performed and documented.
Work with the ROCC to ensure appropriate product quality and quantity are delivered at optimum system cost.
Coordinate incident management at facility level in interface with involved teams.
Coordinate with Industrial Direction Teams regarding deployment of programs at facility level.
Coordinate with HSE teams to maintain compliance with safety and process safety regulations and group standards.
Manage HR resources, ensure availability of personnel, provide training and coaching, enforce policies, conduct performance development reviews and action plans.
Ensure team members meet qualifications required by regulations and IMS.
Dialogue with unions and support labor relations on social issues.
Maintain legal compliance of the facility, reporting to the LI Operations Director.
Qualifications
Engineering degree.
Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial operations.
Experience in internal communication within the company, in compliance with the AL AIR LIQUIDE ESPAÑA, S.A. and AIR LIQUIDE IBERICA DE GASES, S.L.U. Collective Agreement.
