The Group is experiencing significant growth due to its focus on off-site construction methods of delivering projects, meaning on-site construction time is kept to a minimum. Our client led approach to delivery has meant the Group is delivering projects direct to the ultimate user.
RoleWe are looking for an International Accountant to join our team and take ownership of the accounting and financial oversight of several international entities while working closely with the Group Financial Controller.This role offers strong exposure to international operations and the opportunity to play a key part in building and scaling the Group finance function.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage the accounting and financial oversight of international subsidiaries (Sweden and Finland)Lead the monthly close process for assigned entitiesEnsure accuracy and completeness of financial recordsCoordinate with the AP & AR finance team (Ireland)Support audits and statutory requirements in relevant jurisdictionsLiaise with local advisors (tax, payroll, accounting) where requiredAct as a coordination point with the Finance teams in Ireland and Spain, ensuring smooth collaboration and information flow across subsidiariesSupport the financial reporting, consolidation and supporting schedules for group reportingSupport the daily treasury management of the group, including cash visibility and forecastingAssist in the coordination and documentation of transfer pricing processes and policies across group entitiesIdentify process improvements and efficiencies within the finance functionSupport the Group Financial Controller with analysis, reporting and ad-hoc finance projects
Requirements
8–10 years of experience in accounting or finance roleProven experience working in international / multi-entity environmentsExperience handling the financial close of subsidiaries or business unitsStrong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principlesAdvanced Excel skillsAbility to work independently and take ownership of responsibilitiesFluent English (C1 or higher) requiredStrong communication skills and ability to work with international teamsExperience with treasury, transfer pricing, group reporting or consolidation processes is a plus.Willingness to travel
