SEK International School Catalunya needs to incorporate a Biology Teacher Substitution for 28 of August 2025.**Mission**:Empowering students to become inquirers, critical thinkers, and lifelong learners through the exploration of biology, life processes, natural phenomena, environmental dynamics, and effective communication strategies.**Functions**:- Attend department meetings and participate in collaborative planning sessions.- Take part in standardizing assessment tasks.- Contribute to curriculum research and improvement.- Stay updated on the IB program guides taught.**Requirements**:- Degree in Biology or Natural Sciences- Teaching experience, preferably in IB programmes (MYP and/or Diploma) in the areas of Biology and Geology- Native speaker level of English- Microsoft Office user and experience with other educational platforms to enhance classroom dynamics.- Experience with educational laboratory practices to enhance classroom dynamics and promote ths scientific method**We offer**:- Fulltime Contract: 9:30 - 17:10 h.- Substitution contract- Location: La Garriga - Barcelona- Salary: according to the private schools agreement
