We are looking fora Component Engineer to join an important Project located in Valdepeñas in On-site job modality.
What are we looking for? An/a Component Engineer, with at least 2years of experience.
Availability to join a stable project in Valdepeñas.
Mode of telework:On-site
Requirements: Experience with the SAP MM module.
Basic knowledge of MRP and logistics module transactions in SAP (purchasing, goods receipt notes, etc.).
Understanding of class and characteristic management systems in SAP.
Reporting: Generation of Quickviewers.
Work with databases such as IHS, Silicon Expert, Total Part Plus, AVOcOM.
Basic knowledge of formulas aimed at handling large volumes of data.
Familiarity with standards and regulations related to components: MIL-STD, RoHS, REACH, etc.
Ability to identify relevant parameters or figures of merit for components.
Basic knowledge to assess mechanical and electrical compatibility of components (FFF).
Identification of applicable standards for components.
What will your responsibilities be? Support to D&D engineers in the selection and search of components in SAP.
Review of part number (PN) creation requests in accordance with the process (NOR.DEV.TBT010).
Proposal of alternatives based on manufacturers and series approved by the company during the new PN request process.
Parameterization of technical characteristics of PNs entered in SAP.
Review of product BOMs, focused on the prioritized use of RND and compliance with RoHS, REACH, and other regulations.
Preparation of periodic obsolescence reports to inform the client about the status of products as required by contract.
Sending of generic certificates to predict the obsolescence of components not supported by the lifecycle status database.
Technical update of PN documentation: safety data sheets, RoHS, REACH, datasheets, etc.
Technical support for components in response to issues reported by: receiving, production, and service support.
