**JOB PURPOSE**
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage/support the delivery of allocated country‑level activities in support of BG Transformation.
- Liaise with external counsel (Clifford Chance), Central M&A; and Transformation teams, and country/BU/One UL lawyers to support timely execution of transformation plans.
- Support the preparation and coordination of legal documentation relating to entity set‑up and operationalisation, including licences and permits.
- Provide documentation and transactional support to central teams, working closely with local and integral stakeholders.
- Support due diligence activities as required.
- Work collaboratively within a supportive, inclusive, and transparent team environment, with a focus on execution excellence and continuous improvement.
- Prepare detailed periodic updates to support senior stakeholders in briefing executive leadership.
**Skills/Experience**:
- Qualified lawyer with relevant post‑qualification experience.
- Prior experience in a complex, matrixed organisation; FMCG experience preferred.
- Experience supporting legal transformation, restructuring, M&A;, or large‑scale change initiatives is desirable.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively (written and oral) with internal business partners and external counsel across multiple geographies.
- Ability to quickly assimilate complex information, support the identification of legal risks, and contribute to pragmatic, solutions‑oriented legal input.
- Strong organisational and project‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity, while maintaining attention to detail and awareness of broader project objectives.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and TM search platforms.
- Collaborative team player, demonstrating a proactive, inclusive, and continuous‑improvement mindset.
