The Role
As the Sales Manager, you will drive global revenue growth through strategic channel management and direct sales. This high-impact role is ideal for a commercially minded professional with a proven ability to build partnerships, open new markets, and achieve results.
Your core responsibilities include:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive channel sales strategy aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
* Identify, engage, and manage strategic channel partners to enhance market coverage and growth.
* Lead direct sales efforts in targeted markets, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
* Prospect and generate new business opportunities through channels and direct efforts.
* Train partners on products and solutions to ensure effective representation and sales.
* Set measurable sales targets for partners and regions, aligned with business objectives.
* Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement.
* Create accurate sales forecasts and business plans in collaboration with leadership.
* Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, acting as a brand ambassador.
The Ideal Candidate
We seek a candidate with a proven track record in international sales and business development, capable of building relationships, penetrating new markets, and exceeding targets. You are a self-starter, strategist, and deal-closer, thriving in a growth environment.
* Minimum 7 years of experience in international sales, preferably in industrial machinery, packaging, automation, or related sectors.
* Successful history in international channel sales managing distributors, agents, or VARs.
* Strong understanding of channel strategies, partner development, and conflict resolution.
* Experience in complex B2B sales with long cycles and multiple stakeholders.
* Ability to grow sales pipelines through hunting, prospecting, and closing.
* Excellent relationship, communication, and negotiation skills; fluency in English and Spanish.
* Comfort with CRM and sales analytics tools.
* Strong business acumen regarding margins, pricing, and financials.
* Self-motivated, results-oriented, and independent, yet aligned with team goals.
* Willingness to travel internationally (50-60%).
* Cultural awareness and experience in diverse markets.
* Background in industrial machinery, automation, or engineering is a plus.
