Experteer Overview In this role you safeguard Thales information systems by detecting, analysing and responding to cyber incidents. You will support security operations, strengthening cyber resilience through monitoring, investigation, and response. You’ll engage in incident management, contribute to improving procedures, and help address emerging threats. - Monitor information systems for security incidents, alerts, and anomalies
- Analyse and investigate security breaches to determine root cause and remediation
- Respond to active cyber-attacks and gather evidence
- Provide operational support during major incidents and crises
- Assess the impact of incidents on systems and operations
- Ensure effective incident management from detection to resolution
- Coordinate investigation and remediation action plans
- Contribute to ongoing improvement of monitoring and incident response procedures
- Develop procedures addressing emerging threats and new incident types
- Conduct ongoing monitoring of new vulnerabilities and attack techniques
- Communicate threats and recommend tactical mitigations to stakeholdersResponsabilidades
- A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related discipline (Master's desirable)
- Knowledge of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) technologies and log analysis tools
- Experience with SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS, ELK stack, and log aggregation systems
- Experience or exposure to vulnerability assessments and understanding of digital forensics and reverse engineering concepts
- Strong understanding of security hardening techniques and information security systems
- Experience in security operations or SOC environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills
- Structured and detail-oriented approach to cyber security operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork
