Take the next step in your career with us as a **Solution Engineer / Arquitecto de soluciones SAP Basis**. In this role you will uncover and develop digitalisation opportunities and technical solutions that support critical business processes within the SAP Basis environment.
As part of our **Business Solutions** division you will work with workflow-based processes powered by **SAP Salesforce and Microsoft 365** which are key components in our strategy for sustainable value creation. Your focus will be on maintaining individualising and optimising these systems to ensure they deliver maximum performance and flexibility.
This is a **hybrid role** and we value close collaboration. We therefore expect you to be on site in Barcelona (Poblenou) at least **three days per week**.
**Your Tasks**:
- Customise and develop SAP Basis components to enhance system functionality and optimise business processes.
- Establish and maintain comprehensive Roles and Authorisations guidelines to ensure secure and compliant system access.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate SAP Basis configurations, customisations and system upgrades.
- Propose and implement innovative solutions that boost efficiency and effectiveness within the SAP environment.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for SAP Basis implementations and adjustments.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, such as Cloud ALM, and explore their potential integration to future-proof our SAP landscape.
**Your Profile**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in SAP Basis administration, configuration, and support.
- Programming knowledge of ABAP or a strong interest in developing these skills.
- Familiarity with SAP Roles and Authorisations concepts and best practices.
- Experience or strong interest in emerging technologies such as **Cloud ALM** is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
