The position is based in Madrid.This role combines functional expertise in Data Governance with a solid technical foundation in modern data platforms. The architect will evolve the global governance operating model, ensure data standards are embedded into the enterprise Lakehouse architecture, and coordinate governance practices across multiple countries. The role acts as a bridge between Business Domains, Data Engineering, and Architecture, ensuring that governance principles, regulatory requirements, and data quality standards are consistently applied across the global ecosystem. It is a governance leadership position that requires architectural oversight and technical depth.Responsibilities- Evolve the global governance operating model.- Embed data standards into the Lakehouse architecture by design.- Coordinate governance practices across multiple countries.- Act as a key bridge between Business Domains, Data Engineering, and Architecture.- Ensure governance principles, regulatory requirements, and data quality standards are consistently applied across the global ecosystem.- Translate governance principles into architectural requirements.Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.- Solid knowledge of Data Governance frameworks.- Understanding of data quality dimensions and monitoring approaches.- Knowledge of metadata management and data lineage.- Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM) concepts.- Understanding of data security and access control models.- Working knowledge of SQL and data environments in Databricks.- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to data management.- Familiarity with Power BI or similar tools for governance reporting.- Strong strategic thinking combined with technical depth.- Ability to translate governance principles into architectural requirements.- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.- Ability to influence within a matrix and global organization.- Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving capability.- Structured and documentation‑oriented working style.#J-18808-Ljbffr
