As an eDOer, you will lead a team of backend and frontend engineers in the Prime vertical, focusing on expanding the subscriber base for eDreams Odigeo’s subscription programme.
\n
What you will do
\n
Work with tech stack: ES6, ReactJS, GraphQL, Storybook, Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, SASS, CSS‑in‑JS, styled‑components, Docker, Git CI/CD.
\n
Collaborate with Product, Business, Architecture, and Data Science to shape technical strategy and evolve the Prime domain.
\n
Translate functional specifications into high‑performance technical designs, code, and break work into small tasks.
\n
Promote technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
\n
Lead a cross‑functional agile team of 7–10 experienced engineers.
\n
Participate in hiring and onboarding new team members.
\n
Manage performance, set goals, prioritize work, and balance capacity.
\n
Build team identity, engagement, and improve dynamics with an agile coach.
\n
Act as mentor and help others develop skills and careers.
\n
What you need to succeed
\n
Strong knowledge of OO design, system design, performance tuning, design patterns, and data modelling.
\n
Proficiency in JavaScript and a deep understanding of the code base.
\n
Experience with distributed, concurrent, and scalable systems.
\n
Comfort using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar tools.
\n
Experimentation mindset, curiosity for emerging AI solutions.
\n
Ability to make fast, data‑driven decisions.
\n
Excellent communication and influencing skills.
\n
