Join to apply for the Calibration Engineer role at AVL Job Description We are searching a proactive, dedicated, responsible and motivated person to join our powertrain calibration team, who wants to grow as a person/professional in a dynamic and challenging environment. Location Barcelona, Spain Responsibilities Calibration responsibilities in a certain area of the powertrain calibration, emissions, GPF, base calibration and some more. Development of calibration methodologies in order to improve the calibration process. Perform chassis dyno or engine bench testing, depending of the calibration area responsibilities and project. Road testing for real driving conditions validation of the calibration. This will include also tests trips depending of the calibration area responsibilities on the project. Reporting to the team leader and client during the development of the project. Profile Description Good English level. French or German is a plus. Engineering degree or similar. Master degree is a plus. Years of experience: desirable range between 1-3 years Knowledge of powertrain and engines. High sense of responsibility, goal-orientation and teamwork skills. Extra curriculum activities like Formula Student is a plus. Matlab knowledge is desirable. Driving license is needed.
