As a Cook Assistant you will mostly be behind the scenes, but your position is of uttermost importance to ensure a smooth operation. You will work with the Kitchen and F&B Department for daily outlet operations and Banqueting to plan for the supplies that will be needed. Daily Tasks Will occasionally interact directly with guests when working out our Arrel Kitchen Ensure that quality standards are followed to exceed customer expectations daily. - linking up departments to create sense of one team. Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments. Show your commitment and engagement to the brand, the hotel and your team by attending and supporting any of the activities launched by the hotel. Prepare and cook orders in accordance with portion and quality standards specified in recipes Control food usage to minimise waste Advise supervisor of low inventory items; assists in receiving items and taking inventory as required Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards. Attends meetings and communicates with executive, peers, and subordinates as an effort to improve quality of service throughout all departments. Maintain a clean, neat and well-organised work area, including but not limited to reach-ins, walk-ins and counters Always follow established safety protocols and procedures. Immediately report any unsafe or malfunctioning equipment or any safety incident to the supervisor or manager on duty.
Requisitos :
Higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel. Management, Culinary Arts, or Related Field 1+ years related experience, including previous supervision experience. 5-star luxury experience is a must Fluent in English and Spanish any other languages would be great. Must obtain certifications or permits as required by local governmental agencies. Flexibility to work a range of hours, which includes but is not limited to afternoons, evenings & public holidays.
