The ideal candidate will combine a strong scientific background with proven business development capabilities and an established network of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), clinicians, laboratories, and healthcare stakeholders across Spain. /ppThis role is critical in expanding our presence within rare and inherited disease, and precision medicine markets, while building long-term collaborations with hospitals, research institutions, and private healthcare providers. /ppbr/ppbr/ppbKey Responsibilities /b /ppbr/pulliIdentify, develop, and manage new business opportunities for genetic and genomic testing services across Spain. /liliBuild and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, clinicians, hospital groups, academic institutions, diagnostic laboratories, and healthcare decision-makers. /liliDevelop strategic partnerships to drive adoption of molecular diagnostics and precision medicine solutions. /liliCollaborate with medical, scientific, and marketing teams to position products effectively within the Spanish healthcare ecosystem. /liliLead commercial discussions, contract negotiations, and partnership agreements. /liliRepresent the company at scientific congresses, industry events, and networking meetings. /liliMonitor market trends, competitive landscape, reimbursement pathways, and regulatory developments in Spain. /liliSupport market access initiatives and identify opportunities for regional expansion. /liliDeliver sales forecasts, market intelligence, and business development reports to senior leadership. /li /ulpbr/ppbr/ppbRequired Qualifications /b /ppbr/pulliBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or related scientific discipline. /liliMinimum 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within genetic testing, molecular diagnostics, genomics, or life sciences. /liliStrong network of KOLs and healthcare stakeholders in Spain, particularly in rare ans inherited disease and oncology. /liliDeep understanding of the Spanish healthcare and diagnostics landscape. /liliProven track record of achieving commercial growth and developing strategic partnerships. /liliExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. /liliAbility to engage credibly with both scientific and commercial audiences. /liliFluent in Spanish and English. /li /ulpbr/ppbr/ppbPreferred Qualifications /b /ppbr/pulliPhD or advanced scientific training in genetics/genomics. /liliExperience working with NGS-based testing, precision medicine, or companion diagnostics. /liliExisting relationships with major Spanish hospitals, private healthcare groups, and research institutions. /liliExperience launching or scaling genetic testing services in European markets. /li /ul
