**Your mission**:
As a **Business Development Manager for the Italian market**, you'll lead our efforts to expand our presence across 4 countries, **including Italy**, and aspire to conquer 6-7 additional countries in the next 2 years. Your primary objective is to **drive our growth trajectory** by establishing and nurturing relationships with prospective clients, utilizing your strong communication skills to optimize sales, leading the team towards achieving collective goals, and steering Motive towards sustained success.
**What you’ll do**:
- Providing personalized **coaching and mentorship to BDRs** to enhance their skillsets, foster their career growth, optimize lead conversion rates, and **managing team performance,** including hiring and onboarding new team members when necessary, to ensure optimal team functioning and productivity.
- ** Evaluating current outreach strategies**, consistently offering insights, conclusions, and innovative ideas for enhancement to the team, and communicating pertinent findings and recommendations to the leadership team as needed.
- Spearheading the **implementation and execution of initiatives and campaigns** aligned with our integral strategic projects.
- Implementing programs and refining processes to **enhance metrics** such as meeting hit rates, SQL conversion rates, and other key performance indicators.
- **Identifying key companies **and **cultivating target accounts,** demonstrating a thorough understanding of Empathy's addressable market and customer value propositions.
- **Performing and overseeing **outbound outreach activities** including lead qualification, prospecting, conducting demos, negotiating deals, and facilitating closures.
- **Collaborating with the operations team** to facilitate the successful development and deployment of new enablement programs and deployments.
- Effectively **communicating future plans and past performance** to key stakeholders in Marketing and Sales.
- Maintaining **comprehensive activity records and generating reports** using corporate tools to ensure accurate tracking and analysis of business development efforts.
**What you’ll bring**:
- **Language Proficiency**:Native Italian (C2), **and proficient **English (at least B2)** communication abilities.
- ** Team Management Experience**: Proven track record of successfully managing teams, providing leadership, and fostering a collaborative work environment to achieve business development goals.
- **Market Knowledge**: In-depth understanding of the Italian market landscape, including industry trends, competitor analysis, and customer preferences, to inform strategic decision-making and drive business growth.
- **Clear Communication**: Ability to convey technical and non-technical information to staff and customers clearly.
- ** Excellent Organizational Skills**:Strong emphasis on prioritization, goal setting, and time management.
- **Relationship Building**: Skill in nurturing customer connections from prospecting to closure for impactful growth.
- **Adaptability**: Flourish with mínimal guidance, proactive approach, and thrive in uncertain situations.
- **BA or BS Degree**:Academic foundation in business, marketing, or related fields.
- **Startup Exposure**: Previous experience in a start-up environment preferred.
