Requirements:
Applicants should have extensive industry and/or academic experience, a passion for teaching and preferably possess a Masters’ degree, with the relevant professional qualifications.
We are keen on applicants with strong industry experience in carbon markets, with a strong focus on carbon project development. Prior working experience in the capacity of a carbon project developer/proponent; standard bodies; validation and verification bodies (VVBs); or carbon credit rating agencies; would be an advantage. Applicants should have expertise in topics such as the carbon project lifecycle; carbon project design parameters; carbon project economics and financing; standards and methodologies; quality frameworks (e.g. ICVCM’s Core Carbon Principles); and stakeholder and/or community engagement. An ability to articulate the key trends and issues in the technological deployment of carbon abatement solutions would also be advantageous.
