About the role
The main task is to carry out adequate planning of dental production, according to customer demand and inventory provisions, and maintenance of Master Data.
What you’ll be doing
* Make production plans by Value Stream and at a reference level, monitoring compliance with production versus plan.
* Plan the instrument cell and manage its priorities.
* Analyze production capacities with plant supervisors to define resource needs.
* Calculate maximum and minimum levels of EDC inventories.
* Control inventories of manufactured materials and ensure compliance with inventory objectives.
* Track raw material shortages with the Purchasing department.
* Prioritize manufacturing orders and the material necessary for manufacturing and customer service in collaboration with the Receiving Inspection area.
* Carry out the execution of indicators.
* Lead Lean Manufacturing production efficiency improvement projects.
* Maintain planning Master Data parameters.
* Distribute Manufacturing Orders in production.
* Track WIP (Work in process).
* Attend Tier 2 meetings.
* Place orders for external operations and ensure their compliance. Additionally, create pro-forma invoices when necessary.
* Manage the workload and planning of external suppliers.
* Be the interlocutor between the subcontractors and the Quality and Engineering department if necessary.
* Manage rejections and credits with external operations suppliers.
* Manage rework resulting from rejections or Non-Conformities (NCs).
* Record orders from the Dental area of subsidiaries in Oracle and SAP.
* Record Return orders in both SAP and Oracle and provide return authorizations (RGAs/RMAs).
* Carry out the supply of inter-company products.
* Supply the Swiss warehouse and the EDC with material from PBG (Min-Max Process).
* Provide delivery dates to Barcelona Customer Service when requested.
* Transfer production from SAP to Oracle once the delivery is completed and record sales order in SAP and purchase order in Oracle.
What you’ll need
* Diploma or similar in technical engineering.
* At least 2 years of experience in the area.
* High level of English, both spoken and written.
* Knowledge in using office tools, especially Excel, and data analytics (Power BI). Experience with ERP systems, especially Oracle, is essential.
