We are fast-moving and always evolving to drive our purpose of making travel better.Join our family today.Together, we'll make travel better.PPG is currently looking for a Stock controller to join its team within a role that could offer opportunities for personal and career progression.As Stock Controller, you will be part of a committed team, responsible for purchasing, ordering stock and maintain an optimal stock levels of quality products at all times across our lounges and hotel in Madrid International Airport.The ideal candidate will be working along with our buyer and Ass. Finance Manager to increase profitability and effectiveness and develop useful strategies to minimize losses.Duties & Responsibilities:· Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out –of –stock (OOS)· Enter shipping and inventory data in computer system· Create and maintain detailed inventory of all incoming, outgoing, and current supplies· Prepare inventory for deliveries and shipping· Oversee storage of products, particularly of fragile items and across all the lounges/hotel· Coordinate regular inventory audit for all the lounges/hotel· Track and ensure deliveries are received· Make note of damaged inventory· Conduct assessment of supply chain to identify risks and develop solutions useful in minimizing losses· Oversee the functionality of electronic ordering system and checksSCM system· Place orders to replenish merchandise as needed· Supervise the maintenance of all the stores and ensure proper arrangement of stock· Supervise and coordinate the goods receivers team to ensure a smooth run of the operations· Lease with the buyer to coordinate the purchase of merchandise· Maintaining records of purchases, pricing and other important data· Ensure purchase inventory is within specific budget· Establish and maintain good working relationships with suppliers to enable easier procurement of products· Establish and maintain good relationship with your colleagues and supervisorsQualifications:· Proven work experience as a Stock Controller, Inventory Manager or similar role· Proficient computer skills· Should possess minimum Degree in Finance or related field· Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills· Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk and climb during the course of the shift· High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field is a plus· Able to work weekends and extended hours if requested· Coordination skills and ability to delegate· Working under pressure· Problem solving skills· Excellent time ma
