About the role
This role sits within Operations and supports the delivery of high-quality security services across a portfolio of sites and major events. It requires strong organisation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities while responding to changing operational demands in a high-pressure environment.
You'll be working closely with operational leaders and Service Delivery Coordinators to ensure resources are in the right place, at the right time, with the right support, as well as being responsible for managing client relationships, responding to queries and complaints and managing invoice generation and administration.
Duties include but are not limited to:
* Lead planning and coordination of minor major events, ensuring staffing, logistics, and operational requirements are met
* Managing client relationships
* Monthly and quarterly report writing
* Risk assessment and management
* Invoice administration
* Support the rostering function of the events team to ensure coverage aligns with contractual and operational needs
* Coordinate operational logistics including:
o Vehicles and fleet requirements
o Uniforms and PPE
o Operational assets and equipment
o Radios and communication equipment
* KPI performance management
* Data analysis to inform contract profitability and efficiency reviews
* Liaise with internal stakeholders including Operations, National Operations Centre, Rostering Coordinators, Business Managers, Site Supervisors, and Support Teams
* Assist with operational problem-solving to maintain service continuity
* Ensure compliance with MSS policies, procedures, and client requirements
* Support broader operational activities as required to meet business and client needs
* Provide cover for the Events Team Senior Manager as required
Skills & experience
* Experience in operations, rostering, logistics coordination, or event support, within security industry
* Evidence of management experience of at least 2 years including staff performance management, client management, and contract management
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
* Practical understanding of rostering and workforce coordination
* Experience coordinating assets, equipment, or fleet is highly regarded
* Experience of creating, reviewing, and updating operating procedures based on identified risk factors
* Confident communicator able to work with a range of internal stakeholders
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and general systems literacy
* Current driver's licence (essential)
* Security industry experience or licence (desirable but not essential)
