Due to your deep technical expertise and strong practical process knowledge, you are responsible for the technical design and specification of our WMS / WES / WCS solutions, acting as the key interface between the customer's requirements, regional experts, and the development team throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the project kick-off together with the customer.
- Responsible for creating WMS / WES / WCS process flowcharts / specifications according to project requirements.
- Lead technical exchanges and collaboration with software developers (EMEA, APAC, NA), ensuring technical alignment and adherence to best practices.
- Oversee and validate the solution through critical testing phases, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), ensuring it meets all specified requirements.
- Deliver expert-level training and system handovers to customers to ensure successful adoption.
- Always ensure project quality, time, and budget, while supporting agile development and the use of sprints.
- Provide senior‑level technical expertise during the sales phase for large‑scale and complex projects, helping to shape winning proposals.
Qualifications
- University degree or a bachelor's degree in computer science, systems, software, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a solution design, technical architecture, or senior consulting role, ideally within the logistics or industrial automation sector.
- Experience in software architecture (different frameworks, frontend, backend, cloud computing structures).
- Experience in automation technology, robotics and software architecture.
- C# full‑stack development, .Net, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL or other similar database; Git Lab / Hub / JIRA and similar Dev Ops tools, frontend UI / HMI.
- SAP interface, OPC‑UA, REST, TCP / IP, MQTT, Modbus… and formats: JSON, HTML, XML).
- Familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), ERP systems and control technologies (PLC, SCADA).
- Fluent in written and spoken Spanish.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Flexible attitude and willingness to travel for projects (EMEA‑wide travel minimum 20%).
