We are seeking a candidate to fulfill a dual role within the BSC’s Project Management Office (PMO), specifically in the Institutional Projects area:
Documentalist responsibilities:
Manage open access issues for publications, ensure BSC research publications are deposited in institutional repositories within deadlines, and assist researchers in implementing Open Access policies.Grants management:
Oversee personnel grants, identify funding opportunities, support application processes for fellowships (e.G., AGAUR-FI, Beatriu de Pinos, FPI, FPU, Juan de la Cierva, Ramon y Cajal), and collaborate with HR on scholarship administration.Additional duties include:
Compiling bibliographic data and extracting research publication indicators.Providing guidance on publication strategies and career development for researchers.Leading the implementation of a Current Research Information System (CRIS) to centralize research outputs.Supervising junior staff or interns to ensure quality and alignment with institutional priorities.**Requirements:
**University degree or higher in Documentation Management, Librarian Sciences, or similar.At least 5 years’ experience as a Documentalist in a research or academic institution.Knowledge of bibliometric tools (WoS, Scopus) and European Open Access policies (minimum 2 years).Extensive experience managing Spanish and Catalan personnel grants.Proficiency in English, Spanish, and Catalan.**Additional advantages:
