PJob Purpose:br/To drive the implementation of the business development strategies across South Spain. To originate and close new business opportunities and develop our security solutions. /ppJob Context:br/Reporting to Country Manager, Spain Portugal /ppDirect Reports:br/None /ppKey Responsibilities:br/In coordination with the local and international Sales, Business Development and Marketing organizations:br/To effectively plan, manage and implement new business opportunities in line with Country Manager, Spain and Pre-Sales Manager within the company’s regional areas from origination to closing.br/To effectively assist the Country Manager, Spain by implementing the company regional sales, BD and Vertical Market strategy in line with European and HQ directives.br/To communicate and coordinate with the Sales organization in order to efficiently manage Hanwha Vision Sales Ecosystem (Distributors, Value Added Partners, System Integrators, etc).br/To effectively assist in the implementation of directives to achieve company regional business development targetsbr/To work closely with the design agencies to developing complete security solutions to our customers.br/To develop key relationships with clients and continue to grow the client base in line with company strategiesbr/To deliver technical customer training and provide on-site support at all levels.br/To plan and implement sales and customer retention and development in line with company drives and initiativesbr/To attend important project meetings with the European sales team.br/To analyse, evaluate and manage the effectiveness of his/her own business opportunities, methods, costs and resultsbr/To report to the Country Manager, Spain on all BD activities throughout the regionsbr/To monitor and report upon CRM analysisbr/To promote positive relations with partners, vendors and distributors’br/To assist and support Hanwha Vision Technical and Marketing departments in the identification and creation of new offerings (vertical market driven solutions, marketing and sales materials, etc)br/To maintain and develop the company’s image and reputation at all timesbr/Perform related duties as assigned. /ppRequirements:br/A proven track record in a business development or sales role, preferably in either the CCTV or IT Industry.br/Extensive experience within key Design Agencies, Prescriptions, Systems Integratorsbr/Knowledge of third party products, protocols and associated technologies.br/Industry related qualifications or a Business or Technical Degree Level Education would be advantageousbr/PC Literate - Intermediate Advanced ‘Microsoft Office’ skills to include Excelbr/Ability to develop strong and lasting relationships with both internal company Directors / colleagues and key clientsbr/Ability to demonstrate independent thinking and good clear judgementbr/Ability to demonstrate motivation of teams to achieve targetsbr/Logical and well organised with exceptional attention to detailbr/Displays a pro-active approach and is a ‘solution finder’br/Self-motivated and able to work under own initiativebr/Ability to communicate on all levels in a clear and concise mannerbr/Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesbr/English Language essential plus at least the local European languagebr/Clean Driving License /ppPerformance Measurement:br/Business Development Managers performance is measured based on:br/Project Order intake in the assigned vertical and regional marketsbr/Average Project Order Size in the assigned vertical and regional marketsbr/Contribution to the overall performance of their regional business /ppLocation:br/The jobholder will be field based – This role will involve extensive travel within the South of Spain (Andalusia) on a regular basis and travel around outside of Spain may be required from time to time including the Hanwha Vision Europe, Avenida de la Transición Española, 24 Edificio Gamma – Planta Baja, 28108, Alcobendas, Madrid. Alternatively, the job holder could be located in Madrid, but will be expected to travel to Andalusia. /p
