This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Director Analyst, Security Architecture and Cloud Security in Canada and EMEA.
In this role, you will act as a global thought leader guiding organizations through the complex landscape of security architecture and cloud protection. You’ll create impactful, research-driven insights that empower security professionals to design, implement, and optimize enterprise security strategies. Working in a highly collaborative, intellectually stimulating environment, you’ll shape best practices, influence industry direction, and deliver actionable guidance to clients across diverse industries. Accountabilities
- Develop and publish cutting-edge research that defines best practices and emerging trends in security architecture and cloud security.
- Provide expert, actionable advice to security professionals, enabling them to make informed technology and strategy decisions.
- Lead thought leadership initiatives by presenting at conferences, webinars, and client briefings.
- Collaborate with peers to drive innovation, ideation, and cross-domain research in security and cloud technologies.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the evolving security landscape, including technologies, frameworks, vendors, and market dynamics.
- Support organizations in translating business objectives into security architectures that deliver measurable results.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in security architecture, engineering, operations, or related technology leadership roles.
- Proven subject-matter expertise in enterprise security architecture and frameworks such as SABSA and NIST CSF.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles, architectures, and native controls for major IaaS providers.
- Knowledge of CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP, SSE, and container security technologies.
- Ability to synthesize complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and actionable insights.
- Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality deliverables under tight deadlines.
- Confident communicator with experience delivering presentations to both small and large audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the region and globally.
