Pb The Opportunity /b /pp We are looking for a b Power Validation Certification Engineer /b to join our technology team, supporting the validation, commissioning, and certification of advanced power conversion systems for renewable energy and energy storage applications. /pp In this role, you will work at the intersection of hardware, embedded software, and grid integration to ensure our products meet the highest standards of performance, safety, and compliance. /pp This position offers strong laboratory exposure, involvement in international certification, and the opportunity to work on cutting-edge PV and battery-integrated solutions deployed worldwide. /p pb How You’ll Make an Impact /b /pulli Define and execute validation strategies, test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria for prototypes and series products. /lili Perform commissioning and validation of power converters and control systems in laboratory, factory, and field environments. /lili Analyse logs, signals, and performance data, generating structured technical reports to support engineering, quality, and certification teams. /lili Manage full test traceability, from requirement specification through final validation reporting. /lili Lead or support certification activities (UL, IEC, grid codes) and component approval processes. /lili Develop and automate laboratory test benches, including HIL systems and advanced measurement instrumentation. /li /ul pb Your Background /b /pulli Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (minimum requirement). /lili Professional experience in the validation of electronic products and/or embedded systems. /lili Strong knowledge of power electronics converters, electrical system design, and control strategies. /lili Hands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation (oscilloscopes, network analysers, multimeters, temperature recorders, etc.). /lili Experience with certification standards such as UL1741, IEC62477, IEC62109, IEC60076 and grid compliance requirements is highly valued. /lili High proficiency in Spanish and English; strong safety mindset and motivation to work with new technologies. /li /ul pb About Us /b /pp Hitachi Energy is a global technology leader advancing a sustainable energy future for all.
