Global Payroll Specialist – Temporary Contract until Mid‑June 2026

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for payroll compliance, efficiencies & timeliness for the assigned countries.
- Ensure correct accounting via payroll journals, maintaining transaction accuracy for high‑quality outputs.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (employees, HR teams, payroll provider ADP), providing excellent customer service, payroll knowledge and meeting all required SLAs.
- Act as the first point of contact for payroll enquiries and cases within the assigned locations.
- Deliver monthly and annual payroll returns and maintain their accuracy for all employees within remit.
- Support payroll‑impacting projects as a resource where appropriate.
- Provide support on KPI deliverables for payroll and the team.
- Run recurring or ad‑hoc reports, checking data and formatting them appropriately for use by finance colleagues or the business.
- Make suggestions to processes, support team projects, and work with others to upskill in other SME areas across payroll.
- Keep up to date on regulation changes for supported locations, ensuring accuracy and service to customers.
- Maintain compliance with all local regulations regarding payroll and benefits.
- Recommend innovative approaches, policies and procedures for continual improvements in departmental efficiencies.
- Continue to increase subject matter expertise on allocated locations, on all payroll and legislative matters, providing expertise support where needed to others.
- Work with the payroll team and the Global Payroll Operations Manager to provide additional processing/transaction support as required.
- Create and submit monthly pension submissions to the relevant providers in line with agreed SLAs.
- Work to a globally standardised way across the team, ensuring cross‑country backup & peer checks are completed, highlighting issues and identifying trends.
Skills Required
- Knowledgeable in General Payroll Operations;
experience with EMEA & APAC payroll is a plus.
- Excellent payroll knowledge (statutory, legislative) on multiple countries.
- Experienced with payroll journals and cost analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, both internal and external.
- Fluent in English;
other languages are a plus.
- Excellent IT skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- Proactive & positive attitude towards global payroll tasks, process improvements and changes.
- Ability to work well independently and demonstrate initiative with minimal direction.
- Ability to work in a fast‑moving, ambitious and matrix organisation.
- High attention to detail, with accuracy as a consistent trademark for all deliverables.
- Experience with outsourced payroll including Connectivity;
ADP Streamline experience is a plus.
- Experience working in a project environment and contributing to payroll change projects.
