We are supporting a large asset owner in Spain delivering major industrial investment projects and are seeking an experienced Project Buyer to support procurement activities across a portfolio of live CAPEX developments.These projects are entering construction and equipment installation phases, where effective procurement and supplier coordination are critical to maintaining project schedules and controlling costs.Candidates available within the next 4–6 weeks will be prioritised.
Your RoleYou will support project teams by managing procurement processes for equipment, services, and construction packages, ensuring suppliers deliver according to project requirements, timelines, and commercial terms.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage procurement activities for industrial CAPEX projects
* Coordinate RFQs, supplier evaluations, and bid comparisons
* Negotiate commercial terms with contractors and equipment suppliers
* Monitor supplier performance and delivery timelines
* Support project teams with purchase order management and contract alignment
* Work closely with engineering, project management, and construction teams
Ideal BackgroundExperience in procurement within large industrial or infrastructure projects, such as:
* Industrial manufacturing or steel plants
* Energy or power generation projects
* Oil & Gas or petrochemical facilities
* Infrastructure or heavy construction projects
Strong experience in project procurement, supplier negotiations, and CAPEX purchasing processes is essential.Fluent Spanish and English are mandatory for this role. xohynlm
