Job Description As a Cybersecurity Analyst in the OT Cyber Security area, you will work collaboratively in a SOC (L1-L2) to detect and respond to information security incidents and vulnerabilities, maintaining and following procedures for security events alerting and generating security vulnerabilities reports, participating in security investigations and mitigations.This role is based in Barcelona and reports to the OT Cyber Team Leader.Your Responsibilities: Detect and respond to information security incidents and vulnerabilitiesMaintain and follow procedures for security eventsMonitor and analyze log sources for threat huntingConfigure and manage operating systems, switches, routers, and firewallsProduce security vulnerabilities reportsParticipate in security investigations and mitigationsThe Essentials - You Will Have: A relevant degree such as Computer Science and Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, SysAdmin and Networking (Junior College/CFGS)Technical knowledge of networking, routing, and switchingTechnical knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac)Willingness to travel within Barcelona (up to 50%)Fluency in written and spoken English and SpanishThe Preferred - You Might Also Have: Knowledge of OT technologies, networking, and protocolsSecurity certifications like CISSP, CCNA, Security +, MCITP/MCSE, ITIL FoundationsA Cybersecurity Master's DegreeExperience configuring and managing switches, routers, firewalls, and operating systemsExperience with threat hunting, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and detection rules/signaturesExperience with security platforms, programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript)Knowledge of system exploits, network attacks, malware, and phishing techniquesExperience with cloud security tools (AWS, Azure, Google)Experience with DevOps cultureWhat We Offer: Our benefits include:Mindfulness programs with Calm membershipVolunteer Paid Time Off after 6 monthsVolunteer and donation matching programsEmployee Assistance ProgramWellbeing programs via OnTrackAccess to professional development courses...and other local benefits!
