A vacancy for a Static Stress Specialist for Engineering in-service solutions has arisen within Airbus Operations in Getafe.
The RFE repair team in Getafe, thanks to the support of our various Repair Centers in North America, India and China, ensures, for the entire Airbus fleet, a 24/7 support to Airlines requesting repair solutions not covered by the Structural Repair Manual (SRM).
The Daily Repairs are related to the day to day operations of our customers and are activities in the very short term (usually a few hours to give an answer and send approval documents).
Perform Static Stress analysis for repairs according to validated methods.
Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, relevant design principles, processes, methods and manufacturing capabilities guidelines.
Analysis of damage reports to understand the root cause and find the repair solution.
Interpretation and knowledge in NDT.
Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
Experience: At least 5 years in Structural Analysis Engineering
High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a networking mode, customer oriented.
Advanced level in English.
Sound knowledge of static stress analysis of aerospace structures and tools (ISAMI, FEM, ...).
