Our client is seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior Manager with deep expertise in FP&A and Data Reporting to lead financial planning, data reporting, and governance initiatives. This individual will oversee a small-mid size team of professionals and collaborate cross-functionally to drive data-informed decision-making and elevate financial insights across the organization.
Your responsibilities and impact as the Senior Manager (Financial Analytics & Reporting) will include:
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 8 analysts and reporting specialists.
* Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and data-driven excellence.
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
* Provide actionable insights through variance analysis, trend tracking, and performance metrics.
* Partner with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
* Oversee the development, automation, and maintenance of financial and operational dashboards.
* Ensure high-quality, timely, and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
* Translate complex datasets into clear, concise narratives for non-technical audiences.
* Implement and enforce data governance policies to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and security.
* Collaborate with IT and business teams to maintain data quality and alignment across systems.
* Drive enhancements in financial systems, reporting platforms, and data pipelines.
* Act as a liaison between finance and IT to align tools with business needs and analytics capabilities.
* Support or lead the evaluation and implementation of BI tools and financial software.
Skills, qualifications, and interests needed to succeed in this role:
* Min of 10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, data analytics, and financial reporting.
* Strong background in real estate finance is highly preferred.
* Demonstrated experience leading and scaling high-performing teams.
* Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
* Deep understanding of data governance frameworks and principles.
* Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure as it relates to data warehousing, reporting systems, and automation.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus.
