SSA System Architect. JAVA
What's the Challenge?
The selected candidate is a highly skilled and experienced professional responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the development of complex Space Situational Awareness (SSA) systems.
The selected candidate will be participating to working packages from the early specification phases through implementation, testing and qualification, ensuring that solutions are robust, scalable, with accurate performances and aligned with project objectives.
The successful candidate will work closely with an international environment to the building of SSA systems
Be responsible for the specification and design phases of SSA systems, ensuring innovative and functional solutions that meet client
Requirements
* End-to-end system design and modelling, establishing system
* and the design of internal and external interfaces
* Perform testing ensuring compliance with performance and functional
* Participate to international meetings as a technical responsible
* Collaborate with stakeholders (national/international agencies, mission planners, and system operators) to ensure effective coordination of technical meetings
What We're Looking For:
Must have:
* Experience as a system architect with SW subsystems
* Expertise in system design and implementation
* Understanding of databases (SQL), including database design, structures, and query performance
* Strong programming skills (Java, Python, Angular)
* Strong experience with development in a Linux Environment.
* Experience with legacy code
* Familiarity with Git and GitLab CI/CD
* Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker
Nice to have:
* Experience in project documentation creation
* Knowledge of system design methodologies and standards (ECSS)
* Programming skills (Fortran)
* Experience with ESA/EUSST environment
* Knowledge of new technologies (AI)
* Knowledge of SSA systems and sensors, simulation models and tools (Orekit)
