Your Role
We are looking for a
Supplier Quality technician
for the Quality team, who will report to the Vendor Assurance Manager at the
Els Monjos
plant. In this role, you will be responsible to ensure supplier compliance through effective risk assessment, auditing, and documentation management across the general supply base.
What You Will Do
- Carry out risk assessments
- Update the suppliers' platform and review documentation
- Manage documentation between the supplier platform and SAP
- Perform audits and technical visits to Suppliers internationally
- Manage and review supplier self-assessments
- Coordinate external audits when necessary
- Incident reports management and supplier performance evaluations, including data management (results trending from LIMS & SAP QM)
- Co-packer control plan management in coordination with R&D;
- Constant collaboration and communication with Procurement, Plant Quality, Production and R&D; Departments.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in Quality, ideally with more than 2 years in a related or equivalent position, dealing with ingredients and suppliers. Experience in supplier quality team in an international environment is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in food science, nutrition, chemistry, agronomy engineering or similar.
- Fluent in English. Spanish, Italian or French is a plus.
- Food safety GFSI LAC is desirable.
- Internal auditor training and auditing experience (internal audit or second party audits) is desirable.
- Availability to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Proactive, independent and organized profile, feels comfortable working in teams.
