Job Description:
Trigyn has a contractual opportunity for a Web Developer - Back-End (Drupal). This resource will be working Remotely.
Job Responsibilities:
•Assist with the development and maintenance of full-life cycle implementations of Drupal-based solutions in support of the websites for clients with a focus on maintainability, reliability, scalability, security, and performance.
•Assist site-building activities, including support creating and modifying views, contexts, and blocks, to match functionality specified in wireframes and designs.
•Support server-side (back-end) programming, custom module development, and database management for Drupal websites to ensure functionality, performance, and integration with other systems in compliance with branding, accessibility, and multi-lingual standards.
•Develop faceted search views, and design and implement advanced filtering capabilities within SOLR, enabling refined search results based on multiple attributes to improve website user search experience.
•Review user requirements, designs, and wireframes and user experience, to determine technical feasibility during the design phase of the project.
•Support the preparation of technical documentation as required.
•Perform other duties as may be reasonably required and in line with the incumbent’s scope of services above.
Competencies:
•Deep understanding of Drupal’s Entity API, Field API, Plugin system, Services, and Hooks.
•Ability to extend or customize modules (., Search API, Facet API, Views integration).
•Experience building custom modules that interact with the Search API and Solr indexes.
•Familiarity with Drupal configuration management and dependency injection patterns.
•Advanced Knowledge of Apache Solr Integration
•Performance Optimization & Search Relevance Tuning
Experience:
•A minimum of five years of experience in design, development, implementation, training or maintenance for Drupal 10 web sites is required.
•A minimum of 2 years’ experience in designing and implementing faceted search using SOLR.
•Demonstrated experience building custom Drupal modules and working with the Drupal Entity API, Configuration Management, and Migrate API.
•Strong understanding of PHP 8+, Composer, and modern OOP practices.
•Experience working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
•Prior experience with multilingual and international web platforms is desirable.
•Fluency in English is required
