Galileo Satellite Constellation Control Facility (SCCF)
team, responsible for developing and operating the software used to control the Galileo satellite constellation from the ground.

What challenge will you be taking on? You will be part of a team of DevOps Engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of
CI/CD
pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automation frameworks.
Ensure the high availability, security, and performance of the
SCCF
infrastructure supporting mission-critical operations.
Collaborate with software development, integration, and operations teams to streamline workflows and enhance system performance.
Define and enforce
DevOps
best practices, coding standards, and documentation.
Participate in technical reviews, workshops, and formal test campaigns with ESA and SCCF operators.
Drive adoption of modern DevOps technologies and practices (e.g., Kubernetes, Helm, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker).
What do we need in our team? We’re seeking a technically strong professional with proven leadership skills, passionate about automation, scalability, and reliability in mission-critical systems.
5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Management, including 2+ years in leadership roles.
Strong proficiency in Linux administration, Jenkins, Python, and Bash scripting.
Proven experience with infrastructure as code tools ( Ansible, Terraform ).
Deep understanding of CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and security automation.
Hands‑on experience with containerization and orchestration ( Docker, Kubernetes, Helm ).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
Experience in mission‑critical or aerospace environments is highly valued.
Knowledge of
cloud
platforms, networking, and distributed systems.
Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to perform under pressure.
Proactive attitude towards automation, reliability, and continuous improvement.
This position involves occasional
travel .
Position open across all GMV offices in Spain: Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, Valladolid.
