Responsibilities
* Transcribe accurate choir / SATB / custom vocal ensembles from a given audio source (be able to easily distinguish various independent voices in a mix) as well as arrange a melody for multiple voices
* Create publish-ready editions as per current industry standards regarding music notation, layout, enharmonies, and rhythmic values
* Provide clean, reliable, accurate sheet music deliverables in digital format using standard music notation software
Qualifications
* At least a 100 transcriptions experience (not arrangements) involving vocals
* Be proficient with at least one of the following music notation software: Sibelius, Finale, Musescore, Dorico
* Fluent English or Spanish skills and lyric hyphenation & notation
* Strong communication and time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines
* Be able to read, understand, and acknowledge our house-style guidebook and onboarding documents.
Nice-to-haves
* High level of self-discipline
* Be able to transcribe other instruments as well
* Fluent in any other language to transcribe and hyphenate vocals
* Experience collaborating with other musicians and/or clients
Compensation by the hour as per the candidate’s experience and skillset.
