WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to join our Marketing Ice Cream department in our Barcelona office. You will be leading the beloved and iconic brand Magnum in Spain.
The Marketing Manager is the owner of the Brand. Leads the development of the national Brand Marketing Plan, within the category plan guidelines, to meet company goals. Leads a multifunctional team to implement the plan in the market place and monitors performance. Participates in various cross-functional teams - NRM, CMI, R&D;, Sales, Regional Brand Teams and externally with local support agencies, both Media and PoS.
You also bring perspective on performance against monthly target and respond to category gaps or activation requirements identified through the Business Unit Committee.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:

BRANDVISION PLAN (BVP)
- Take the BVP and translates it into the BMP.
BRAND MARKETING PLAN & BRAND COMMUNICATION
- Lead integrated Brand Marketing Plan development and deployment.
- Propose brand activity and measurable objectives.
- Activate campaign ideas in the national market.
- Brand audit, Jobs to be done & in-market pricing.
- Responsible for local Brand Communication & Portfolio in the different channels.
INNOVATION & RENOVATION
- Responsible for portfolio management & performance in the different channels
- Lead Innovation / Renovation programmes for the different channels.
- Define short & long term pipeline for the country and influences local and integral teams.
- Lead multi-functional innovation project teams
TRADE MARKETING
- Lead the development of draft and final channel plans.
- Responsible for building launch plans and channel strategies
- With Customer Development, sets national brand KPI’s and channel marketing strategy and identify relevant in-store solutions.
- Engage with key customers alongside CD.
P&L; MANAGEMENT
- Responsible for the brand P&L.; Drive growth and profitability of the brand. Recommend solutions and implement improvements to meet annual targets.
- Monitor brand performance to implement appropriate plan changes.
- Provide input to volume forecasting, financial updates and monitors key indicators and drivers of brand performance.
OTHER
- Manage and develop direct reports.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- University degree, with an emphasis in business
- 10+ years relevant experience in Marketing roles, Ideally combined with Trade Marketing or Account Management.
- Experience in different channels is a plus (Retail / Out of Home).
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong analytical capabilities, organizational skills and creativity.
- Project management and strong knowledge of financials is also required.
- Business planning and implementation experience.
- Passionate, energetic, results driven with proven leadership abilities.
- Proficient Level of English as a Language.
- Team leadership experience is a must.
