AXON Networks is looking for a Telecommunications Algorithms Engineer to join our team as an Algorithms & Data Analyst Developer. You'll work on cutting-edge solutions for global ISPs like DT, Telefónica, and Bouygues, improving access networks, Wi Fi management, and E2 E software.

The Telecommunications Algorithms Engineer plays a key role in the design and development of AXON Networks products focused on access and Wi Fi technologies. You'll leverage your technical expertise in algorithms and PON/Wi Fi systems throughout the entire release process, including data analysis, algorithm definition, documentation, implementation, testing, and bug fixing.

Responsibilities:
Provide expert support for AXON Networks product features.
Design, develop, and refine algorithms, including troubleshooting and bug fixing.
Drive innovation in managing access networks, setting the direction for next-generation software solutions for network access technologies.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver transformative products that meet the needs of global ISPs.
Requirements:
Technical Skills
Master's in Telecommunications or related field (Ph D is a plus).
Experience working on physical layer of communication systems.
Knowledge of communication systems and statistical processing.
Knowledge of copper (DSL), fiber (PON), or Wi-Fi technologies is desirable.
Experience in collection, test definition, analysis, and reporting of data, etc. in lab/production environments.
Experience with database languages such as SQL/Mongo DB.
Experience in control version systems, as GIT.
Experience in Java software development.
Experience in algorithm analysis
Familiarity with Linux (as user) as well as programming in scripting languages like Python.
Familiarity with data mining and machine learning algorithms
