Financial Institutions Coverage (FIC) is a global coverage group specializing in the Financial Institutions sector.
Overall Job Purpose
You will assist and support FIC bankers in promoting all the bank's product lines, both domestically and globally. This includes a full range of investment banking services, complex bespoke solutions, strategic advice, and commercial banking products.
Key Responsibilities
You will work closely with FIC bankers to:
* Assist with onboarding clients: Internal client management, KYC requirements, due diligence, compliance, and recertification processes.
* Coordinate with legal teams to negotiate agreements with clients.
* Analyze and approve credit lines in collaboration with credit teams.
* Prepare client reviews for credit committees.
* Develop senior executive internal briefing notes and presentations.
* Monitor industry developments affecting client dynamics: Analyze trading dynamics, market trends, and regulatory changes.
* Identify opportunities to apply product solutions to other clients.
* Work with bankers and business lines to build product knowledge and prepare marketing materials.
* Assist in monitoring FIC portfolio performance and KPIs: Revenues, budgeting, client reporting, and business opportunities.

* 3-5 years' experience in the financial industry.
* Knowledge of banking and insurance regulation.
* Good product knowledge offered by an investment bank.
* Good knowledge of accounting and financials of financial institutions.
* Good numerical and analytical skills.
* Good modelling skills.
* Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Fluency in English.
