Overview
We’re building the next generation of fintech and hospitality technology, and our systems, data, and customers need to be protected as we grow. The Operational Resilience Manager will be the person who makes sure our IT and security posture is robust end‑to‑end: from cloud infrastructure to the laptop on every desk.
This role is about real‑world resilience, not box‑ticking. You’ll design the frameworks, help implement them, and be close enough to the details to know they work.
✅ Your mission, should you choose to accept it:
* Own the operational resilience agenda across Mews FS, ensuring our IT systems are monitored, secure, and ready to withstand incidents and disruption.
* Secure new and existing systems, making sure that as we adopt new tools and platforms, our risk posture improves rather than drifts.
* Be our point person for IT & security resilience, working closely with infrastructure and device specialists to create one coherent approach rather than siloed efforts.
* Help us sleep better at night: fewer vulnerabilities, better visibility, and a clear plan when something does go wrong.
If we’re celebrating together a year from now, it will be because you’ve become the person everyone trusts to keep our infrastructure and devices secure and resilient.
️ You’ll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you:
* Has a proven track record in IT security and resilience, ideally in roles like CISO, CIO, Head of Information Security, or similar senior positions
* Is used to operating in startups or scale‑ups, where resources are finite, ambiguity is normal, and you often have to build the plane while flying it
* Brings deep knowledge of both infrastructure and device security – you understand how these worlds connect and where they usually break
* Has strong domain expertise in cybersecurity and IT compliance, and is comfortable navigating relevant frameworks and regulations
* Is hands‑on and pragmatic – happy to dive into systems, logs, tools, and configurations, not just PowerPoints
* Communicates clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, translating risk into plain language and actionable decisions
