Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly analytical and business-oriented FP&A Manager to lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across the commercial, and customer areas. This role will be a key finance partner, providing insights and decision support to senior leadership in departments such as Sales, Revenue Management, Marketing, Network, E-commerce, Catering, and Customer Care.
Main Responsibilities
* Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the annual budget and periodic forecasting processes for corporate, commercial, and customer functions.
* Analyse actual vs. forecast/budget variances and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
* Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support decision-making, business cases, and strategic initiatives.
* Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive leadership.
* Business Partnering: Serve as the finance partner for Commercial (Sales, Revenue Management, Marketing, Digital) and Customer areas (Catering, Call Center, Customer Experience).
* Provide financial support for new commercial initiatives, route profitability, pricing strategies, customer programs, and service-level investment decisions.
* Collaborate with department heads to set financial goals, track KPIs, and optimize resource allocation.
* Corporate & Overhead Cost Management: Monitor and control corporate overhead costs, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency.
* Ensure alignment between financial plans and strategic objectives of corporate departments (HR, Legal, IT, etc.).
* Process Improvement & Systems: Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and systems (e.g., Power BI, SAP, Anaplan, etc.).
* Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data and reporting.
Education
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (MBA or postgraduate studies preferred).
Experience
* 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, ideally in the airline, transportation, travel, or consumer industries.
Competencies
* Proven experience working closely with commercial and customer-focused teams.
* Strong financial modelling, analytical, and communication skills.
* Advanced Excel and proficiency in financial systems/tools (Power BI, SAP, Tableau, etc.).
Languages
Fluent in English (written and spoken) and Spanish.
