Guardian Glass is seeking you to become our next Production Shift Supervisor at our Float Glass Facility in Tudela, Navarra (Spain).
As a Production Supervisor, you are responsible for developing your team into a high performing unit while advancing our vision and culture. You will do this by recognizing the unique skillset of your team members and aligning them in a way that creates personal fulfillment and value for the company.
The Production Supervisor is also responsible for supervising and coordinating production efforts that result in sustained improvement in all associated work processes including Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), compliance, reliability, quality, production, and costs.

This role works a rotating 4 shift pattern.
Our Team
You will join a team of diverse supervisors and process engineers that collaborate on a daily basis strategizing our priorities for the day. The Production Supervisors encourage a one team on the field mentality, paying particular attention to their direct reports and general attention the workforce. This unified but dynamic team encourage the challenge process, open and honest communication and expects leadership support and feedback.
You will be part of the Coater Line Team, working closely with the Operations and Engineering teams. Our division is dedicated to maintaining high standards of production efficiency and quality while fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
What You Will Do
1. Leading an operational team (5 employees) in a safe and efficient manner and to take ownership vision advancement, safety, quality, and productivity
2. Build the high-performing team by understanding your direct reports individual capabilities and utilize them as whole. Work with team to create personalizing development plans, deliver meaningful coaching and be involved in selecting and retaining the right people.
3. Driving safety excellence through promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to proactively eliminate hazards. Providing safety training to crew members and deliver training materials in a meaningful approach.
4. Facilitating team development and communication, employee skill development, problem solving and resolution, building employee commitment and ownership and holding employees accountable.
5. Monitoring product quality and provide direction to crew members to maximize efficiency.
6. Promoting employee involvement, providing coaching, feedback and direction as required.
7. Assisting with troubleshooting production issues.
8. Completing data entry responsibilities and generate reports in a timely and efficient manner.
9. Understanding the cost of decisions and impact to departments and other process.
10. Meet or exceed KPI goals by demonstrating success in measuring and improving processes.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
11. Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related discipline.
12. Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.
13. Flexibility to work across 4 rotational shifts.
14. Possess strong communication skills, along with excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
15. Fluent in both English and Spanish.
