AtBasqueCulinaryCenter (BCC)andGastronomyOpenEcosystem(GOe),wearelookingforprofessionalsfromthegastronomicfieldand/orthenutritionandhealthsector tojoinatalentpoolaimedatcoveringoccasionalteachingneedsacrossourdifferentlocations.
Weareseekingprofilessuchas chefscapableofdeliveringcoursesfornon-professionalaudiences, chefswithknowledgeofhealthyeating, aswellasnutritionistsorotherhealthprofessionalswithanaffinityforcooking.Itisnotessentialforallcompetenciestobeheldbyasingleperson.
Yourmission istodesign,develop, anddelivercourses,classes, andpracticalworkshopsoncookingandnutrition,aimedat diverseaudiences(bothadultsandchildren), ineducational,outreach, andexperientialcontexts.
Yourday-to-dayresponsibilitieswillinclude:
- Organisingandplanningthedevelopmentofclassesand workshops incollaborationwiththecookingandnutritionareacoordinator.
- Deliveringcoursesand workshopsrelatedtohealthyeating,cookingadaptedtodifferentnutritionalneeds, andhealthylifestylehabits.
- Addressingandresolvingparticipants’questionsfromaculinaryand/ornutritionalperspective,dependingonyourprofessionalprofile.
- Contributingtothecreationofahigh-qualitylearningexperiencealignedwiththevaluesofBCC andGOe.
Requirements
Doyouidentifywithanyofthefollowingcharacteristics?
- Professionalexperienceingastronomy(cooking,hospitality,culinarytraining) and/orinnutrition,dietetics,orhealth-relatedfields.
- Experiencedeliveringtraining (formalornon-formal).
- Solidknowledgeofhealthycooking,adaptedculinarytechniques,orthefundamentalsofnutritionandhealth.
- Strongsocialskillsandtheabilitytoconnectwithbothadultandchildaudiences.
- Proficiencyin officetools.
- Availabilityforoccasionalcollaborationaccordingtoprojectneeds.
Youwillstandoutifyou:
- Holdahighereducationor Bachelor´s Degreein HumanNutritionandDietetics,Gastronomy,HealthSciences,orrelatedfields.
- Haveknowledgeofspecialdiets,adaptedcooking,healthycookingtechniques,orspecificproducts.
- HaveahighlevelofBasqueand English (C1).
- Standoutforyourorganisationalandplanningskills.
