Founded seven years ago and headquartered in Valencia, we collaborate with over 160 institutions and companies at national and international levels. Our multidisciplinary team works across multiple scientific and industrial fields, one being the nuclear fusion field. We support ambitious technology transfer initiatives from fusion to non-fusion markets.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Technology Broker with a strong technical background to carry out brokerage services. The successful candidate will act as a Technology Broker and will build, promote and sell Viromii's clients' portfolios of advanced fusion‐related technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, promote, and sell emerging fusion technologies.
Identify and facilitate potential business opportunities for the emerging fusion technologies.
Search for potential users, licensees, industrial adopters of the fusion technologies, potential partners, and customers for the developers of the fusion technologies.
Connect developers of the fusion technologies with potential partners/customers, as well as potential users, licensees, and industrial adopters of their technologies.
Build a portfolio of fusion technologies – identify new technologies, produce technology offer documents.
Promote, communicate, and sell the portfolio of technologies.
Manage a virtual marketplace of fusion technologies.
Carry out brokerage services to transfer fusion technologies to the market.
Launch and manage funding initiatives such as an award or a demonstrator project.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in STEM.
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in brokerage, business development, sales, or technology transfer roles.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Advanced user of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Minimum C1 (or equivalent) English language level in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL) and minimum B1 (or equivalent) Spanish language level.
