THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE Santander Asset Management is looking for an Accounting & Control Analyst based out of Boadilla. As an Accounting & Control Analyst you will be part of the Global Finance & Strategy team in Santander Asset Management performing multiple tasks which mainly involve statutory controlling and reporting, bud geting, cost and liquidity analysis and liaison with external and internal auditors. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for: Prepare and coordinate accounting month-ends of the entities within the scope, it includes to review deeply all the month end figures to ensure liaison with other departments, Gesban and finance teams in other countries within SAM Group to ensure month-end are prepared on time and with the correct information. Report accounting information to different stakeholders. Produce, control and analyze monthly management reporting. Accounting and management information, travel and liquidity reports, among others. Prepare annual budgeting and business plan processes for the entities within the scope. Monitor and analysis the deviations. Additionally the candidate will be involved from a Global point of view reviewing and coordinating budgets and business plans of the different countries within SAM Group; and also analyzing and providing inputs to the countries related to Global Projects. Prepare annual statutory accounts and annual impairment tests for several legal entities within SAM, including liaison with Gesban, external audit and external valuator Collaborate with Third Party Risk Management function and procurement in order to ensure compliance with the TPRM model Prepare and coordinate liquidity requirements for SAM Group which include, among others, quarterly liquidity consolidation and reporting to Group forums, dividend plan for SAM Group, updates to Board. Analyze accounting implications of new projects and initiatives being proposed in coordination with Gesban and the external auditor or any accounting input that is required at SAM Group level Global market share anaylisis, reciving inputs from the countries and analysing them and preparing reporting information for the different stakeholders. Prepare capital contribution for SAM Group during the budget and business plan processs and prepare reports for the different stakehodlers. Monitor and analysis the deviations during the year. Professional Experience 3 years of experience performing a similar role, with focus in accounting Experience as a financial accounting auditor Education ADE/Económicas o Grado equivalente Languages Fluent in English and Spanish written and speaking Hard Skills Strong IFRS and PGC technical accounting experience Highly analytical and numerate.
