CRM, Customer Success & Marketing Automation Associate – Mautic Specialist
(Remote - CET ± 4 h)
This hybrid role combines hands-on Mautic expertise with multichannel campaigns and Customer Success coordination across clients, internal devs, and the CEO.
You will be the technical marketing operator ensuring campaigns run smoothly and the face of daily value delivery for our managed deliverability and profitability ESP offering.
Key Responsibilities
MK Technical Ops & Analytics
Own the Mautic stack – installations, upgrades, plugins, security.
Access servers via SSH to audit and tune cronjobs (segments, campaigns, webhooks, backups) with Dev-OP.
Identify and fix misconfigurations like duplicate triggers or missing messenger workers.
Query Amazon Athena (SQL) on our engagement_daily table (47 columns, partitioned by date) to validate KPIs and craft ad-hoc insight reports.
Monitor deliverability using tools like InboxTracker, Litmus & MXToolBox; maintain inbox placement >95%.
Integrate Mautic with clients' websites, e-commerce, CDP, BI, and ad platforms via API/Webhooks.
Customer Success & Coordination
Serve as the primary success contact for assigned accounts: schedule stand-ups, gather requirements, translate into tickets, track SLAs.
Coordinate hand-offs between dev team, yourself, CEO/PM, and clients; ensure expectations, blockers, and ETAs are clear.
Present weekly performance decks highlighting growth in active users, clicks, revenue, and next-step experiments.
Capture feedback and turn it into backlog items or optimization ideas.
Project Prioritization & Growth
Co-own JIRA boards with the CEO; prioritize to maximize ROI.
Run mini-experiments (subject-line tests, new segment roll-outs) and measure impact.
Prospect and scope new customers fitting our 10 MM+ emails/month profile.
Traits & Skills We Value
2–4 years CRM/Marketing Automation experience, with at least 1 year as primary Mautic owner.
Proficiency in SQL (Amazon Athena), including window functions, partitions, and cost control.
Linux CLI skills: cron, log grep, bash scripting.
Ability to clearly explain technical concepts like DNS vs DKIM to marketers and roadmap trade-offs to executives.
Strong project management skills: attention to detail, tidy Kanban, 'definition of done'.
Kaizen mindset & frugality: iterate fast, deliver value with lean resources.
Mastery of AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot) for rapid drafts & queries.
Bonus skills: experience with Optimove, Bird.com, Klaviyo, Braze, or Iterable; knowledge of French.

Success in 30 / 60 / 90 Days
30 Days: Create a new sending domain for an existing client, configure DNS, warm-up, SES credentials, Mautic settings, and cron; document checklist and coordinate.
60 Days: Lead Customer Success for one client—achieve four consecutive weeks of increased active users, clicks, volume, and revenue; conduct weekly syncs, identify issues early, resolve proactively.
90 Days: Manage 3 clients end-to-end with minimal CEO intervention; proactively source and scope a new customer.
