🎯 What's your mission?
We are looking for a Health & Safety Technician to join the Health & Safety team of a multinational company and leading fragrance manufacturer. The position will be part of the in‑house Prevention Service, working closely with the production, engineering, maintenance, quality and human resources departments to ensure a safe and healthy working environment. The selected person will carry out their activity mainly between the production plant in Rubí and the headquarters in Sant Cugat del Vallès.
Develop, manage and coordinate HS policies, hazard control systems, as well as HS procedures to reduce the risk of injuries, damage or losses to people and materials. Develop, implement and coordinate HS trainings/meetings and emergency response plans.
🛠️Here’s what you’ll be rocking every day
* Manage and keep the company’s Occupational Risk Prevention System up to date in accordance with national Occupational Health and Safety legislation and the ISO 45001 standard.
* Carry out risk assessments, action plans, and incident/accident investigations.
* Coordinate the monitoring of compliance with preventive measures in the plant and offices.
* Promote training, awareness and communication actions in matters of health and safety. Provide awareness and information on job‑related risks to new staff. Coordinate training or any other necessary activities related to job risks to strengthen the preventive culture at the workplace.
* Participate in continuous improvement projects related to industrial safety, ergonomics, industrial hygiene and workplace well‑being.
* Oversee and update safe operating procedures, technical instructions and documentation of the Prevention Service.
* Collaborate with engineering and operations in the design of facilities, equipment and processes, incorporating preventive criteria.
* Prepare and support internal and external audits.
* Monitor and analyze key OH&S indicators.
* Maintain and follow up on Health & Safety KPIs.
* Follow up on globally defined objectives and site‑specific objectives.
* Coordinate the actions to be carried out by the external occupational safety consultant and inform the global HS coordination and Management about the results and findings.
* Participate in the review of the emergency plan and in periodic drills.
* Coordinate and plan workers’ health surveillance according to their job position.
* Follow up on non‑conformities arising from risk assessments, audits or safety walks.
✅ What you need to shine in this role
* Bachelor’s Degree in Safety and Health or Technical or scientific degree (engineering, environmental sciences, chemistry...) + Master’s degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (minimum disciplines: Safety and Ergonomics – Psychosociology).
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, in an industrial environment.
* Experience in chemical or related sectors will be considered a plus.
* ISO 45001:2018 training.
* Languages: Spanish and English at a professional level
