Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines, following check‑lists for each model.
- Record and report breakdowns, identifying deficiencies and notifying clients, either scheduling direct repair or approving a repair proposal.
- Supply spare parts, identifying replacement needs and managing inventory.
- Conduct safety tests on machines in accordance with legal and technical specifications.
- Build new machines, launch them and hand them over to clients.
- Prepare repair quotes and spare‑parts budgets following organizational guidelines.
- Provide technical and commercial advice to clients, addressing technical matters and recommending necessary repairs.
- Proactively identify sales opportunities for services, spare parts, new machines and upgrades, informing the client and the assigned Sales or Regional Manager.
- Create technical assistance reports (BM) following organizational directives: daily transmission, client signature, service type coding, and identification of used spare parts.
- Use and care for technical equipment and assigned materials (workshop vehicle, notebook, phone, tools, spare‑parts inventory).
Requirements & Qualifications
- Medium or higher vocational training (Mechatronics or similar) or equivalent experience as a maintenance technician with at least one year in the sector.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
- Training in Labor Risk Prevention for metal (20 hours in person).
- Basic or intermediate English.
