Community engagement specialist

The Community Engagement team is responsible for managing the needs of the OneForma crowd community. They act as the face of the brand to the community to foster positive discussions, loyalty, and brand reputation.

The Community Engagement Associate works closely with marketing and support, but primarily engages with our crowd online and engage in any discourse that could mention the OneForma brand, competitors, discussions about Domain Experts, AI, Data, and more.


Duties and Responsibilities

* Moderating online and offline conversations within our community.
* Identify online discourse across owned socials, reddit, discourse, similar forums, and more to monitor any brand mentions, subject mentions or competitor mentions
* Prioritize engagement in alignment with the brand, brand positioning, and goals to ensure negative posts or comments are addressed, discussions are engaged, and positive posts are amplified and leveraged.
* Acting as the face and voice of our brand within the community.
* Work with Marketing and Community teams to host digital events to build community and boost brand awareness.
* Participate in and actively improve crowd reputation systems and ranking mechanisms.
* Building relationships with the online community.
* Implement resource engagement initiatives with the team to maximize resource retention and utilization.
* Providing engaging text, image, and video content for social media accounts and other digital marketing tools utilized in recruitment campaigns.
* Additional duties as required.


Requirements

* University degree, preferably with a language or communication focus.
* Exceptional written/oral communication skills in English.
* Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Experience launching community initiatives (i.e., building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series, and writing an email newsletter).
* Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics and to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics.
* Experienced in social media, PR, and promotional events.
* Remote, office, or hybrid work environment depending on specific position.
* Very organized and able to work under pressure in a professional environment.
* Tech-savvy professional.
* A “people person” with great customer service skills and the ability to attract new members.
